Murase Associates designed Counterbalance Park, completed in 2008. Precision Earthworks Inc constructed the concrete urban jungle.
Few have dared put put this much concrete into an open space. The busy intersection is noisy and dangerous. The wood planks, gravel, and steel benches are unfriendly. But at night is when it really comes alive. |
