This Netherlands Architecture Institute exhibit of Asymptote Architecture’s projects takes on a vast 10,000ft2 space. A structural ceiling grid fluctuates to define spaces and create interior separation walls. Each project can thus be presented in a space particular to it.
The question of communicative media is further explored in this 2003 exhibit with virtual reality environments. A machinery of light displays information as a manifestation of space. Time and space thus become the very contours of this interior space. This innovative design has led to many such interiors. |
