Bornhuetter Hall, College of Wooster Ohio

LTL (Lewis Tsurumaki and Lewis) Architects designed Bornhuetter Hall for the College of Wooster. A landscaped approach leads to a sort of courtyard defined by vertical sunshades. Wood protrusions allow certain windows to pop out from the exterior copper sheathing. Both wings meet at this courtyard.

Intense research before the design included interviews with staff and students. It was constructed in 2004.
